answers and explanations for my pokemon connections puzzles
This one was a gift to a friend of mine and their girlfriend, and it's themed around them.
I was sad to discover that THREE pokemon had two paradox counterparts, which is annoyingly close to what I needed. So I decided to include Gallade, because Iron Valiant being a counterpart of both Gardevoir and Gallade is very similar in concept, and people can guess "they all have paradox forms" to get the answer right anyway.
You kind of have to take 'dynamaxed in a gym battle' as the last category here in order to not get frustrated... Duraludon and Frosmoth, for example, are in their other categories FIRST, and they just happen to fall into that other one. It's not the best-designed puzzle, I need to get better at keeping the categories separate.
I'll use other categories as themes require them, but these are all the categories I wrote out (by hand, mind you!) when I was starting the puzzles.
